LinkAGES Connects

Kavod Senior Life is a LinkAGES member in Colorado.

LinkAGES is one of Aging Dynamics’ most comprehensive and impactful efforts to date. The relationship began when a funder approached Aging Dynamics with an opportunity to facilitate a community-wide collaborative strategic planning process in Denver, Colorado. The outcome was a vision for addressing social isolation through creating opportunities for meaningful intergenerational connections.

To achieve this vision, three core tenets were established:

  1. Commitment to collaboration

  2. Evaluating impact

  3. Building the capacity of organizations

After completing the strategic plan, Aging Dynamics was contracted to develop, facilitate, and manage the multi-sector collaborative. Aging Dynamics’ responsibilities include:

  • Grantseeking from philanthropic donors

  • Awarding grants to intergenerational programs

  • Facilitating regular meetings

  • Building relationships and supporting collaborations

  • Technical assistance and capacity building

  • Data collection and application of evaluation learnings
